From funtains of particules to funtains of ideas: WebGL in (inter)actions”
WebGL is an API to allow 3D graphics in the (compatible) browsers. This presentation will first provide some quick background in 3D graphic programmation (e.g. graphic processing pipeline, scene graph, rendering, ..). Then we’ll see the WebGL initiative, its current state and promises. Showcase examples we’ll be presented to show the full potential of WebGL. Finally we’ll explore some libraries using WebGL -such as Three.js– to quickly design interactive application to make useful stuff.
